Day 1 – Cusco / Challacancha – Soraypampa “Sky Camp” – Laguna De Humantay:

Start the day with your pick up from your respective accommodation from 4:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. Approx. Leaving Cusco, we go to the town of Mollepata (approximately 2:30 hours after leaving Cusco), there will be a short stop of 30 to 45 minutes for breakfast.

Once the breakfast hour is over, continue to the place called Challacancha, starting point of the walk to Soraypampa “SKY CAMP” (Duration 3:30 hours / 8 km).

After lunch at the “SKY CAMP” and a short break, we will continue with the walk for 2 hours / 2 km to the Laguna de Humantay, where you will have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the turquoise lagoon at the foot of the mountain.

We will descend for 2 hours / 2 km back to our SKY CAMP and spend a night accompanied by miles of stars and constellations.

Day 2 – Soraypampa / Abra Salkantay – Huayracmachay – Chaullay: 

We will wake up early 05:30 am (approx.), After a breakfast we will begin the day’s hike to the highest point of the entire route. (Open Salkantay) approx. 7 Km. The ascent will be in rocky and steep terrain in the middle of the valley and the imposing Apu Salkantay with sections that will prove not only the resistance but also good acclimatization. Once at the top, you will appreciate the spectacular landscapes of the Salkantay snowcapped mountains and the second highest mountain in the region of Cusco.

During a short break you will have enough time to rest and appreciate the unique landscape of the Abra de Salkantay, we will continue descending by a Rocky terrain until we reach our lunch spot in Huayracmachay.

We will resume the walk for approx. from 2:30 hours, until we reach Chaullay where we will spend the night in a warm climate typical of the area.

Day 3 – Chaullay / The Beach – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes:

At 6 am. After breakfast, we will start a hike along paths surrounded by wildlife and -ora of cloud forest where you can appreciate the great variety of different fruits such as bananas, avocados, granadillas and passion fruit, our walk through the valley are approx. 6 hours / 17 km. During the walk we will continue appreciating landscapes with small waterfalls, orchids and animals from the area.

At La Playa we will have lunch and after a short break we will continue on a transport to Hidroeléctrica where you will have the option of taking the train Hydroelectric to Aguas Calientes (not included) or walk to Aguas Calientes.

The Hydroelectric walk to Aguas Calientes is 3 hours / 10 km. through the face of the train, on the way we will visit the so-called Intiwatana – famous solar watch. Approximately at 5pm we will arrive at Aguas Calientes.

Day 4 – Machu Picchu Exploration “Wonder Of Word”:

After breakfast very early in your hotel, we will go up to the Machu Picchu sanctuary and enjoy a guided tour of the main constructions of the citadel for a duration of approx. 2 hours.

For those looking for a more physical challenge, we have the options of climbing the mountain of Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain, where you will have great Views of Machu Picchu.

In the afternoon, you will have to return to the town of Aguas Calientes to pick up your belongings from the lodge and take your train back to Ollantaytambo. 16:22 hours, where we will wait for our transport back to Cusco approx. at 8:00 p.m.
