But the rewards are phenomenal; 360 degree views of the surrounding majestic and wild Tian Shan Mountain range and the sense of achievement in attaining a peak very rarely attempted by anyone in one of the world’s most beautiful settings.
Itinerary:
- Arrive in Bishkek.
- Overland car to Karakol.
- Karakol town to Altyn-Arashan.
- Eki-chat to Yiri-Tor Glacier.
- Yiri-Tor glacier to Sary-Chat glacier.
- Summit day.
- Sary-Chat to Eki-Chat.
- Eki-chat to Altyn-Arashan
- Altyn-Arashan to Ak-Su village.
- Stock day.
- Return to Bishkek.
- Fly out to Bishkek.

DAY 1 – Arrive in Bishkek:
Arrive in Bishkek and enjoy your day viewing the city.
NOTE: Lunch and dinner is included. Alongside an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 – Overland car to Karakol:
Start your day with an overland car drive to Karakol town. Here you will sort out equipment rental needed for camping and hiking.
NOTE: Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Alongside an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 3 – Karakol to Alytn-Arashan:
Drive from Karakol town for approximately 3-hours to Altyn-Arasgan with a 4×4 joy-ride. From this destination, walk for 4-5hours to the Eki-Chat camp (2800m)
NOTE: Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Alongside a joyride and overnight camping.
DAY 4 – Eki-Chat to Yiri-Tor glacier:
Start your day from the camp site, hiking up to the Yiri-Tor glacier. This is a 6-7 hours walk! Finish by setting up camp (camp at 3900m)
NOTE: Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Alongside hiking and overnight camping.
DAY 5 – Yiri Tor glacier to Sary-chat glacier:
Start your day by hiking up to the Sary-Chat glacier. Cross the Sary-Chat pass 4200m. Today you will walk for 5-6hours (camp at 4200m).
NOTE: Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Alongside hiking and overnight camping.
DAY 6 – Summit day:
Today’s the summit day! Start at 4.00AM to ascend! This ascend will take 10-15hours. You will be staying at the same campsite (4200m)

DAY 7 – Sary-chat camp to Eki-chat camp:
Hike from Sary-chat camp to the Eki-chat camp. Which will take around 7-8hours (camp at 2800m)

DAY 8 – Eki-chat to Altyn-Arashan:
Hike from Eki -chat to Altyn-Arashan (2400m). After 4-5hours walking, take a well-deserved relaxing dip in the natural hot springs.

DAY 9 – Altyn-Arashan to Ak-su Village:
The hike from Altyn-Arashan to Ak-su village is a 4-5hour walk. Followed by a car journey into Karakol town.

DAY 10 – Stock day:
Stock day for bad weather/ resting etc.

DAY 11 – Return to Bishkek:
Return to Bishkek to enjoy your final night roaming the town.

After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport for your departure back home.
